De Soto Parish is a Louisiana parish. Properties listed through our Louisiana service are entered into NTREIS, subject to applicable listing requirements.
With a flat fee listing, agents searching NTREIS can find your De Soto Parish home, while every selling decision stays with you: the asking price, when showings happen, and how you respond to offers. Our guide to listing on the MLS in Louisiana walks through each step. Wondering how buyers and real estate agents will contact you? De Soto Parish lies south of Caddo Parish and borders Texas to the west. Mansfield is the parish seat. Stonewall, in the northern part of the parish along I-49 and US 171, is close to the Shreveport area and is the only De Soto Parish community with its own page in our initial directory.
Because our directory currently covers Stonewall only, homes elsewhere in De Soto Parish, including Mansfield and more rural areas, are not shown as separate pages. Send the exact address so the brokerage can confirm whether the property can be entered into NTREIS before you order.
Many De Soto Parish homes sit on larger or rural parcels. Use the De Soto Parish Assessor’s legal description for acreage and improvements, and describe access, utilities and outbuildings accurately rather than assuming the features of a nearby subdivision apply.
