NTREIS is North Texas Real Estate Information Systems, a professional listing network that also includes participating Northwest Louisiana members. The Northwest Louisiana integration was completed in 2021, connecting the Shreveport–Bossier market to this regional database.
LouisianaFlatFeeMLS.com is an independent flat fee service, not the NTREIS operator. A Louisiana property is entered through a licensed brokerage with appropriate participation and entry rights.
What Is NTREIS?
NTREIS maintains listing records for participating professionals across its regional service area. Northwest Louisiana participation is associated with the Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS, rather than ROAM MLS.
Records include property facts, photographs, asking price, status and showing instructions. The listing brokerage enters and maintains the record under applicable NTREIS rules.
A wider regional database does not guarantee listing access for every Louisiana property or exposure on every consumer website.
Which Louisiana Areas Does NTREIS Serve?
Our Louisiana NTREIS coverage directory includes Shreveport and Bossier City, with researched communities in Caddo, Bossier, Webster and De Soto parishes.
Haughton, Benton, Stonewall, Minden, Greenwood, Blanchard and Keithville are initial community pages. Parish-wide access and individual addresses remain subject to brokerage confirmation; unspecified neighboring parishes are not automatically covered.
Can a Homeowner List Directly on NTREIS?
Homeowners do not directly create their own NTREIS listings. A participating licensed brokerage must submit the record. A flat fee arrangement provides the listing entry while the seller retains responsibility for showings and negotiating offers.
You supply accurate information and signed forms. The brokerage reviews the listing and maintains updates rather than giving the seller a professional MLS login.
How Does an NTREIS Listing Reach Property Websites?
NTREIS records may appear in participating brokerage searches and on consumer sites through authorized syndication and data feeds.
Zillow, Realtor.com and other independent sites control their own display rules and timing. A listing in NTREIS does not automatically create a ROAM listing or guarantee placement on a particular public site.
How Do Buyers and Agents Contact the Seller?
Agents with MLS access can view the contact information and showing instructions supplied for your property and contact you about appointments.
Public websites often use the brokerage contact information or platform-specific inquiry forms. Optional Call Forwarding and ShowingTime are subject to availability; platform tour requests may reach the website’s agents.
Preparing and Updating Your Louisiana Listing
Prepare the legal address, photographs, accurate measurements and Louisiana listing and disclosure documents. Older homes may also need federal lead-based paint disclosures.
Broker review precedes activation. Changes to asking price, photographs and listing status must be requested through the brokerage and comply with the relevant MLS requirements.
What Does a Flat Fee NTREIS Listing Cost?
Standard costs $299 for a 6-month listing with up to 25 photos. Premium costs $349 for the same term with up to 50 photos and up to 3 Open House Alerts.
Call Forwarding and supported ShowingTime each cost $50. Extend either package by 6 months for $100. Compensation for a buyer’s agent, when applicable, is negotiated separately outside the MLS; compensation offers are not placed in MLS listings.
